Season 5 brings major changes to Verdansk, Warzone's playing field, including reworking the Stadium area, the Station and its railway tracks. As shown in the update trailer, the stadium opens its roof, giving access to a new playing area and preventing campers from putting their tents on the roof. The same goes for the interior of the station, which is now accessible from the hall or the railway tracks. Moreover, an armoured freight train now runs on one of the main arteries of the map, and can be defended by players to recover the loot it contains. Another minor new feature is the presence of elevators on the outside of some buildings, so that snipers nesting on top of skyscrapers can be defended without going through the inside of the skyscrapers.
Of course, the weapon selection has been completely redesigned and new game modes have been introduced, such as a Royal Mini mode or a mode where players compete for control of three armoured armours spread across the map.
Modern Warfare, meanwhile, continues to be updated with the arrival of four new maps, a 6 vs. 6 game mode on an oil platform, new mode selections and upcoming content in the coming weeks. Classic multiplayer will also be available for free to Warzone players this weekend, with the XP bonus package that comes with it.
